OMR-Based Tests – Quick Guide

  • Used in PT1, PT2, PT3 and objective parts of Half Yearly / Annual
  • Use only blue or black ball pen (no pencil for OMR)
  • Fill circles completely – partial filling may not be read
  • Do not fold, tear or staple the OMR sheet
  • Practice bubbling correctly – wrong method = wrong answer
  • No negative marking in most school OMR tests (confirm with subject teacher)

Preparation Tips for All Exams

  • Revise previous tests before the next one – they often carry weightage
  • Use NCERT books as primary source + school notes
  • Practice past papers and sample OMR sheets
  • Start MCQs first in OMR-based papers to save time
  • Plan revision timetable for each assessment
  • Get enough sleep and stay calm on exam day
